I miss the standard trans days watching the tach go off the dial on the old 80 z and side steping the clutch no limiter in the good old days and tach only went to 7000 rpms. Then after every third pass having to adjust the shifter rods had a bad problem flexing

between .2 and .3 Greg. The first night I busted a stock cam 11.9 I was running mid 12.2's four or five passes in a row, I swapped the stock Z wheels for the Weld skinnies and bust off four or five 12.01-12.04's befor kicking in the 11's door

well that sir aint gonna be a problem for much longer. if i didnt already have Cody's torn down i would start on mine. And i do admit my car needs a bit more gear. but its still gonna be a sad day when im even a tenth behind you.....stock trans, stock rear, stock suspension, smaller cam and you still cant shake me off your tail....i bet at the starting line you gonna be so nervous you dont miss a shift or **** up the launch, meanwhile i will be on a sunday drive while my shifts are done in milliseconds....stalled auto for the mf win

Those days of being nervous are OVER!!! Only thing in my mind at the light is to **** and git son. There's nothing on the line to be nervous about. Besides, sunday was still partially shake down runs for me since Pine Valley sucked. I was learning my car just as much as yall. Watching the vids helped cause I keep a log of my runs and launch rpms. The car still bogged a tiny bit on the 6k drop so it'll be a little higher depending on how well the track prep is.
