was the clutch holding you back sunday?? it seemed like you were running pretty good......on this run you were asleep at the tree, i got almost to the finish line and thought i had beat you then you came barreling up from behind me like a freight train at the last minute....

see that spring/retainer that is jacked up on the direct drum? It also killed three steels andtwo clutches. You can see the steel in the bottom of the drum, it was spinning inside of the drum and that killed the clutches

4L80e won't pop. Why are all you 6 speed guys hatin? 
Next thing you know ya'll are gonna be talking like the ricers and always wanting a roll race,lol. I'll admit a M6 is harder to get down the track, but take it from a guy who knows building a A4 car that doesn't break stuff regularly is a pretty good hill to climb also.
Josh, you can borrow my ET streets anytime you want to get a test run on them.

With no other changes I lost 7 horsepower on the 4L60 to 4L80 swap, but the dyno can't account for the added 100 pounds. That shows up on the old time slips. It slowed the times a little, but part of that was a decrease froma 4000 stall to 3500.
The upside is I can spray the hell out of it and only worry about an engine rebuild,lol. I'm sure the tranny and rear are here to stay.

sorry chris cant go to 150 mph on the street, thats just rediculous....i tell you six speed guys will do anything to try and win. yeah and we can do street tires. i will be on factory wheels so thats all that matters. *******.
