Was cool meeting the rest of you, after ya'll left I pulled another 13.1 @ 107. 2.0 60 FT. I'm pretty confused since I'm dead hooking and that last run was perfect shifting wise.

Had alot of fun last night. Traction seemed to be an issue for me, not to mention a little bit rusty but it's all good. The 10 bolt was hating life but it was a soldier. Lucky for it the clutch isnt as grabby as it used to be. Congrats to Steve for FINALLY joining the 11 sec club. 20 cold ones comin soon.
Andy, you need to get your 60ft down. A 1.9 woulda put you at a 12.9 with that trap speed. I have a ton of bolton slips for you to compare to if ever want. I'll see if I can dig up my first 12.9 and post it so you can compare. Seat time will help and just from experience I would suggest a 9" if you plan on making this a hobby. Get with me or Dan if you want. I built my first 9" for $1800 and that was with an aluminum center. Just look for deals here and there and be ready to buy when they come up.
Once again I enjoyed it, but my clutch and rear have about had it so it'll be a few months before I make it back in mine but I'm gonna take the 2011 next time and get a baseline before the hairdryer goes on.
Another thing I wanted to mention is some of yall were letting the cars cool down. These cars run better hot. Steve and I both dropped a tenth hot lapping if you want proof. Ive run some of my best times hot lapping. You gotta remember these aluminum blocks dissipate heat alot better than them old iron blocks so they're good to go as long as you have adequate cooling.
