Tuned and worked on a few supercharged goats. Lots of fun to drive. Kinda makes me want one.

I'm pretty partial to them. Only got to drive one for 4 days before heading to the sandbox. Nevertheless I did enjoy that 4 days despite the crappy weather and roads where I couldn't even stretch its legs.

Month and a half left!

Went and talked to a guy at Mills Motor Parts today for shortblock machine work. They seem pretty legit. Thanks for the suggestion, J-Lt1-R.

I've used them for several stock motors or just machining in the past and will most likely be taking them my other block soon to get it lined out so I can start building on it over the winter. I referred Johnny there and he seemed to have liked them as well.

My car is finally down on the tires and runs great. I only drove it down the street very easy though. My boost-by-speed controller isn't working correctly and is causing a couple little issues. Not sure if I will have to pull it out or not.

Now onto the clutch break-in before tuning.

Cool man, keep us updated. I'd like to see that SOB rip down the road one good time.

It's prolly one of those vacuum actuators that open the doors to let the air flow to which ever vent it needs to. They are located around the air ducts. I think the one you may need to check is in the dash though. Not a 100% on it's location cause the only reason I've gone into my dash was to put in a new head unit 6yrs ago.

Every time I open up a box of stainless headers I smile like a kid on Christmas day.

The LS1 style are starting at around 200 for the "buy it now", and going up to around 300.
I paid 180 shipped.
The LT1 style always come with Y pipes and go for 300+. So I got off cheaper this time.

Anyone know how to properly swap out the the lock / window switches? Did some searching, but all I could find were window motor threads. My driver side door's driver side window and lock switch are broken (the little rocker connectors snapped). I tried pulled the copper connector pice out from the bottom, doesn't seem to want to budge, and pull the switch from the top doesn't seem to allow me to replace it properly...

My AC started blowing through the floor and I think I remember knocking a vac line loose over by the pcm. Check that out

Post up a pic of exactly where you are at and we can walk you through it. That style of GM switch is a pain in the ***. They used them for 20 years. Always tough when they have never been taken apart before.
