I deleted my PS cooler a while back and have had no issues so far.....I don't autocross though

STS turbos run around 350 degrees cooler then any front mount kit. All our intake temps are well over 100 in this heat. But yes intercooler is always good.

Its not under a closed hood for one, it loses heat because of the distance it has to travel to and from the motor ect

Yea I told him to wrap the exhaust from the manifolds back with the exhaust wrap, so it would hold the heat in and help with the lag he has

Bingo. Turbos thrive off of heat and velocity, the more the better. Intake temps are 350 degrees cooler than a front mount? I know what my iat's are, that just sounds a little off. Not saying it isnt possible, just sounds a little steep. I havent looked into the iat differences between a sts and front mount

My IATs got up to 150+ during tuning and back to back wot runs. Will definitely benefit from an intercooler, but is ok at this boost level. And yes, exhaust wrapping is a must on this kit and is in the near future

It's a stalled auto Cody, and I miss my 6spd dearly but I must say I like this car.
