LSX Shootout Class

LSX Shootout Class
NMCA is looking at a NOS only class for this years LSX Shootout. I have been asked to get some input from the guys that will actually show up and race. "IF YOUR CAR IS ON THE BOTTLE WHAT E.T. RANGE DOES YOUR CAR FIT INTO AS IT SITS NOW?"

I'm not voting either. Sucks being in AK until November
At this point, the rules don't matter a whole lot. If they have 20 cars that will run mid 8's, the rules would be tailored to to an 8 sec. class. If there are 20 guys that will run mid 10's, the rules would go in that direction.

Madman, thanks for soliciting the feedback. I am noticing a lot of guys are hesitant vote if they are not sure they are not coming which is good given the truck poll from last year.
I am presuming you have spoken to some folks and an a little bit confused about the poll choices because it is includes ET ranges far slower than I thought we were looking at. For example, my naturally aspirated car fits easily into two of the four categories.
So I guess my question is whether the goal is to find an ET range with the most cars or to gauge where our nitrous runners are.
The poll is not public so you we will not be able to see who is committing.

Redgar I have been in talks with the NMCA. To make a class work they need to have more than 3-4 cars. They want to know what times the majority of cars on this site run. Unfortunately the past has shown that people want rules for their car but they dont show up. NMCA is being very receptive to ideas for a NOS class and they are wanting the rules to be pretty open but all the racers need to know that they will probably have to make some changes to run in a class.

I voted, Eastside's gonna go this year I'm pretty sure, wether they have their car together or if they take mine which I'm willing ot let them do.
I voted 9.0 to 9.99, as that's what the car currently runs, however if Ken wants to take the car and hit it hard, I'm sure that it's gonna go in the next choice in your poll faster.

Guys... C'mon. Quit splitting freaking hairs. This isn't about rules, this isn't about tires, it isn't about if you will show up or not, it isn't about if you want to tune "up" or "down" to go a particular e.t. It's a simple question. IF YOUR CAR IS ON THE BOTTLE WHAT E.T. RANGE DOES YOUR CAR FIT INTO AS IT SITS NOW? And no, we don't need any "well if I put nitrous on my n/a car, it should be able to run this."
Geez, had I known a simple question would have turned into something so complicated I would not have bothered talking to Brian about it.
LOL... another lesson learned.
