Jetfastformula, if you spin (may be a good thing for your 10 bolt) you'll probably end up with a high 11 sec pass. If you hook, your car probably won't make it down the track due to the 10 bolt going.. It seems that you're ignoring the warnings from other members regarding your 10 bolt on the bottle, especially in a manual tranny. You may get lucky with a few passes, but make sure you have a tow truck ready with money put aside.

As far as plugs is concerned, you're on the outside looking in (not knowing) which I can understand. I was there also, so I came to this conclusion, along with my own experimenting: Will I listen to guys that's running 11s and 12s on the bottle? OR, will I listen to guys that's been there, done that, running sub 10s and single digits. You decide..

Br7ef or even a br6ef plug will do you better than a tr6. But, I'll never put TR6s in my car again, ever. My car picked up switching to colder plugs on the bottle. Now, I daily drive with 8s in my ride with no problems, but switching to 9s when play season arrives.

Im aware of the limits of the 10 bolt and It will probably be the first to let go I just hope it dosen't 150 miles(the dragstrip) away from home, that will be one hell of a tow bill. I might upgrade when tax time comes around, but you know how that goes.

so i guess i recently fell victom to the tr6 misconception. i had ran over 100 bottles through my car on a 150 and 200 shot and late in the season the car started missing after a nitrous pass and the ground strap was blown off my #5 plug and it melted a bit of the head around the plug and f'd up the intake valve, it was mushroomed in the head. So what plug should i run with my new 404ci and a direct port shot between 200-300?

-9 for 200
-10 for 300
-11 for 350+

For a serious 400inch motor we run the BR7 N/A.

I was afraid that you were gonna say that LOL.

I didn't know that his was a dry setup too. Is his a Prock setup also?

I'd like to pick your brain sometime about big dry shots. I haven't fooled with any dry shots that were more than 200 or so. One day when I have time I'll shoot you a PM with some questions.

Thats pretty cheap I'll have to look into it. It would defenitely be worth having just in case. I wonder what they would say about having to be towed from a dragstrip LOL.

They did it for a friend of mine and didn't say anything. The tow truck driver laughed a little bit though.
