Default 98 A4, MS3, tuning, TR6's or br7ef plugs???

I have a 98 TA H/C full boltons with all the fuel upgrades and debating whether to change plugs or not. Reason being cuz its a 98(which they say is the hardest to tune especially with the MS3 cam on an A4) and it already has the TR6 plugs. I've sprayed a 150 shot on it on the stock rear end but along with the major upgrades(Interface nitrous controller, full rear suspension, 3600 Vigilante multi disk, and Dana S60) that are about to go in I want to upgrade to a 175-200 shot eventually. There's alot of controversy on which of these two plugs to go with and I'm wondering if the colder plug would make it even worse to tune? It already turns off alot(when cold, especially in reverse) with the current tuning on the TR6's as it is. Any input will be appreciated!

the 7s will work fine man. The 6s are junk. I ran the 7s on my daily driver and have never had an issue.

you need the br7ef plugs now and the b8efs plugs if you continue to up the shot.

Yep, ditch the 6`s and run the 7`s. And get a better tune and raise your idle rpm`s.

If it doesn't idle well now that is your tuners fault and not the plugs. I can put 8s in my ms3 car and the idle doesn't change one bit. But then again my tune is right on. Get the idle fixed and you wont see one problem with the colder plugs.

My car idles fine with 11's in it. I don't drive it alot but I have put a few street miles on them.

Get a better tuner.

Oh, and put the 7's in it.

I've been running TR6 for many years now on a 150 shot and I never had a problem, I don;t get it....why are the TR6's junk all of a sudden? Did someone blow there motor up on nitrous and blamed it on the plugs or was it the stupidity of spaying the hell out of your car all year long and never checking them or changing them.

7's gapped at .035. I just installed them in my h/c car and it's running really, really smooth and crisp. It had tr55's in there gapped at .058. I went to the 7's cause it's about to get sprayed again as soon as my pill gets here. Better to be safe than sorry.

Oreilley's can order them and you can get them the next day. Don't tell the br7's cause they won't know wtf you are talking about. Tell them NGK-part number 3346 and they will be able to find them. They are 2.49 ea. They come gapped very close like .022. Gap them at .035. I learned all of this on here last month before buying mine.
