Generally speaking if you have 93 octane fuel you don't need to pull any timing for anything under a 150 shot, I think you need to pull roughly 2 degrees for every 50 hp so 6 degrees for a 150 shot! You should be safe without a tune up to a 125 shot or at least thats the consensus here! Don't forget to get colder plugs or you can say goodbye to your engine!

I would still tune it for nitrous, get a wideband in your car to. With a 150 shot thats to risky. I have heard of people doing a 100 shot without a problem. But I would not risk it better safe then sorry.GET A TUNE.

Honestly, it all depends. If you are still on the stock tune, you could probably get away with it. I think the stock tune has around 24 max timing. However, if your car has already been tuned, you will need to pull timing before you even think about spraying it. Alot of times you will see 30 degrees in an agressive motor tune. IMO, this is too much to spray on

If the computer hasn't been touched as far as tuning goes then you should be able to get away with a 100hp shot with no problems. For the 150hp shot i would suggest getting a tune to get he full potential out of the car and to know your safe to spray.
