Default stock (spray/cam only) lq4 in 1955 chevy

i've been putting together a project car and taking it to the local track. its a 1955 210 post (2door). engine is a stock iron block lq4 6.0 ls. has a comp xr275hr cam (222/224 .566/.568 112) and headers. everything else is stock 40k+ miles. trans. is th/350 and 10" ptc convertor (around 3000 stall). rearend is a stock 8.5 10 bolt with factory 3.42 gears from a 78 camaro. i swapped in a minispool. also have full 2.5" exhaust with cutouts. i'm running a 255lph walboro inline fuel pump. and have an nos drykit off of an lt1 with built in regulator to spike fuel psi. havent seen anyone run this kit on an ls1 before. i converted a purge kit into a second stage to split the n2o up, due to traction. rear tires are m/t slicks 28x9 on 7" steel rallys. only traction device is some old slapper bars that were free.
have a friend using H/P tuners to tune on the car.
really having a blast with the car and steadily improving the e.t.s. cooler weather should help.
took it back to the track this past fri. and had a new best e.t. of 6.40@104.9 with a 1.42 60ft. which was not a perfect run so, it should go 6.3s.
doing a disc brake upgrade for the front soon, so hopefully be able to take it to a 1/4 mile track and be able to get stopped. lol
looking to eventually go mid 6.3s or 9.9s in the 1/4. not far away at all. if i could leave on everything and hook, it would be there.

3450lbs. not as heavy as it looks. only ran it on motor once since the cam swap (when we were tuning). it was 98 degrees. only went 7.6s. it needs more convertor and gear for all motor. doesnt start pulling till a couple cars off the line and goes thru the traps in 2nd. (3.42 gear)
i'd hafta have a laptop and set the timing for motor passes.
BTW, cool skylark!
