Sprayed first 100 shot today. Not impressed :(

The low pressure makes a huge difference if the tune up is set up for 1000 psi.
If yours is set up for 900, then 875 will not make a huge difference.
I'm set up for 950, and have made pass' at 900 and didn't lose that much, and on my stuff it's pretty picky.
If you didn't pull timing, you did not lose power, you made more heat, not less.
I also don't understand why someone would say that??
The reason we pull timing is not to make power, it's to keep from melting down.
For the record, bottle pressure does not make more power, the combination makes power,
and I actually have been thinking of going back to 900 PSI.
Oh yea, remember what the % of power gained is. As mentioned, you will definitely feel a 100 shot.
Now a max effort car might not, but a 300-400 car will feel even a crappy tune up, if the system is functioning properly.
Good luck.

And we are also going to drop our starting line pressure down to 900.
OP probably has a very rich tune up in it.

You really need to get virgin plugs.
Some kind of place to make 1 hit and then check the tune up, like a track.
What would really help would be to know what kind of set up the kit was designed for.
That's why I said 875 means nothing if you don't know where the pressure should be.
Now what happens if you increase PSI 75+ lbs and lean it out.
Even after 29 years, my seat of the pants skills are not as good as reading a graph or checking plugs.
Good luck.

Do these guys with the roller dyno's let you kids spray on them???
That might be the best few hundred bucks you ever spend??
Find one with an experienced operator, bring 40-50 plugs, and plug that thing in and do it right.
I've been doing this 29 years, and I'm sending off my system to be professionally flowed & calibrated.
It costs too much time, energy & money to screw around.
Especially when it costs me hundreds of dollars for every T & T.
Just a thought, I'm sure some of the guys know if someone offers that type of dyno service??

im thinking you just had your expectations a little high. I had a 100 shot on my old setup and from a 70 roll it just wasnt much there to me. The SOTP feel just wasnt there.
from a 20 roll or so it was a total different animal. it came alive. I noticed you have a circle D converter so it should be a pretty good converter. I believe mine was due to the SLOPPY SLOPPY vig 3600 that was in my car. I bought it used off of here( I think it was from coach), it was pretty sloppy on the top side, but the bottom end was impressive. It seems that it pulled harder down low on a 100 shot than some of the motor cars that I've driven that are faster and cut better 60s.

Sprayed it today and HOLLY **** it's an animal now! I will post up the before and after vids here in a little bit. I went from 50 both times to 120. I looked at the times on the camera and on the first run it took 12-13 seconds from 50-120. On the 100 shot it took 9-10 seconds 50-120. Pulled timing and had bottle pressure at about 1050 this time.

Wow. Pulling the plugs is the only real way to tune a car on the spray. If you don't give a **** pill it for a 300, advance the timing 6 degrees, fill the tank with 87 octane and let her rip.
