This, and when you pull up to the line, light the first light, wait for the other guy in the other lane (if you're running someone else) to pull in and at least light his first light.
When he does that or if you're racing by yourself purge your nitrous 2 or 3 quick times before you pull in to light the second staging light.
This is what I do when I remember
If the car isn't spinning and it's just hesitating there is air in the line or you don't have the window switch set-up right.
Do you have the tach output settings/how many cylinders you have on the window switch set at 004 or 1? What window switch are you using?

Im sorry for the late response, i got booted off the track for going too fast. Guys i dont have a window switch. My nitrous is activated by a full throttle switch. I also do have a purge. i take the line off the plate and purge out the air before my runs. could that be the problem? also my nitrous line from the noid to the plate is about twice as long as my fuel line from the noid to the plate. Could that be a problem as well?

Thats only 50 bucks and the piece of mind of not worrying about jets. Seems like a no brainer to me! Bite the bullet and do it. You sport the Nitro Dave colors... help him out Dave!

LOL I thought that's what it was.
He does make very nice products, I don't know if it will work with my set-up though as I use TPS voltage to activate the kit and not a wot switch like he has in his instructions. Wot switch would use 12v and TPS uses 0-5v.
I will ask him.

You need a window switch and a purge.
Not having the purge is what your problem is.

my opinion, if your pulling the line off the plate before the run and you do your burnout yada yada yada by the time you stage chances are you will still have the initial air in the line when you floor it. I always purge right after i light the first bulb to ensure all air is out. just my 2 cents

Mines not on window switch right now either. I cant get the N2o outlet progressive to pick up rpm on the right tach settings. We jus bumped my rev limit up to like 8thewsand rpm
anyone know what tach signal the msd 6010 uses for rpm? 000,004,002 im lost.

psh i thought i was the dumb redneck around here..lol
i think im like 39 with my .045 gaskets..ive been thinking about gaining some quench by going to gm 51s or bigger ill lose some comp not much though 11.93-1 to like 11.76-1 i think..it would give me a better tuning window though
figured i would ask an see what everyone was at first before i make my final choice..i got the 45 cometics already..but that was when plans where diff, even with 51s it would only be 45 quench which is still low for a big juice deal..

More N20 the bigger quench you'll want...will help it not be so timing sensitive.
.060-.070 ..... some of the big boys are around .100
When they soften the chambers they are just angle cutting/milling the quench pad.
