Unbelievable low numbers on dyno after a wet 150 shot
had the car strap to a dynojet and the tune tweaked by a recommended hptuner, n/a she made 400/358tq and after working some bugs and spraying a 150 shot through a wet plate she made a whopping best of 443/420tq..i'm speechless and dissapointed by so low numbers, can't believe that was a 150 shot..i know the 4k stall eats some power but really??

Fresh bottle, pressure was 950. Afr's on initial hit were 10.6 then slowly climbed to 11.4. We think it could be a clogged plate or nitrous noid, but that noid was working fine on the pre-maf 75 shot, so idk. i know it was on the rich side wit 19 deg of timing but still. Stall it's a PI 4k

on a 150 shot... you can be around 12.5 afr (I'm at 13.2 on a 350 shot on 93 octane pump gas)
assuming you are around 27~28* at WOT on motor, you need to be around 22~24 on the 150 shot
get those things fixed.. and you will see a dramatic increase in power
its all in the tune.. or I should say complete lack of a good tune

thanks, N/a afr's were high 12.8's and we used 62n and 32f. I think that's the right jetting. Could be that the nitrous noid be partially clogged? or regardless of jetting he was supposed to lean it out?

I can't really remember on the nitrous run, but on the n/a run the tq took a dive after 4300ish rpm right after max tq was made. I was thinkin blowin through converter was a possibility too, cus as soon as the 4k stall kicks in tq falls off like @5 o'clock

again.... Timing and Fuel are WRONG
19* wont make any power on a 150 shot....
general rule of thumb is to start at -2* for every 50 HP of nitrous
that means start at 6* of timing pulled from where you made best power on motor...
then look at the plugs...
clean plugs in, do a 1/4 mile, shut down, pull plugs....
increase timing 1* at a time, when MPH stops increasing, you stop adding timing...
11.4 is STUPID Rich... which also, will not make power....
once you solve these 2 issues, you can take a look at the converter more...
if its a stock converter, chances are, you might thru it, but you can have similar looking issues from timing and fuel being wrong...

not backwards like that like switched up, fuel jet in the nos side of plate, nitrous jet in the fuel side of plate? ive seen it happen on here before only reason why i mentioned it

Ck'd that and they are fine. 062 on nitrous and 032 on fuel. we tested the nitrous noid by removing line from plate and holding it in the air and it was spraying fine, we also removed intake and opened t/b blade to see if the plate was spraying, hit the switch and plate seemed fine too.. I might be wrong but i dont think going from 11.5 afr to 12.5-12.8 its going to pump out the other 75-100whp it's running short.. When i was running the dry shot pre-maf anything over a 75 the car would go uber rich and not make any power. Later i found out that the 30lb ford injectors were at 85% duty cycle N/A so they were ran wide open. i'm glad nothing happened and thus why i went wet
