Default Nitrous Plate Fittings

I am looking for some nitrous plate fittings that are -4AN. I have been doing some reading and it appears that -3AN fittings are a big restriction with more than a 200 shot so I am interested in replacing all 4 fittings on my plate with -4AN ones or do I really not need to do this?

What plate do you have? I'm sure that it an be upgraded if yo plan on spraying more than 200.

The description for the plate says up to 400hp, but I am assuming that would be 2x 200. Not in a position to go 2 stage yet.

Pretty sure their single stage plate kit is good to a 400 shot, which is what it says on their site. Upgrading to a -6an line would be a good idea.

I am either going to go up to a 250 single shot, or eventually go with a 100 + 150 shot.

Our plates have 3AN fittings inlet fittings which is fine. What you're looking for, to make your system flow over 225HP, is a "race hose" that is essentially a 4an hose with a 3an b-nut on one end. This hose goes from the nitrous solenoid to the plate. If you have a -6an main feed line and this race hose you are good to go. If not, shoot me a PM or give me a call and I can get you fixed up with what you need.

Right now I have a -4 supply line, although I am starting to think that might not cut it for much over 250hp.

That is correct. People will tell you that a -4an can flow over 250HP but the fact of the matter is a -6AN will flow 250+ all day long without all the tweaks and tricks you'd have to do with a 4.

I am going to be running a 2 stage right away now. I picked this up over the weekend for $300

Not going to use the rails and go direct port any time soon but maybe down the road. I am thinking 100 once I get moving then a 150 on top of it.

All plate fittings are going to be a 3an, because a jet has to fit inside them. The 3an plate fittings aren't a restriction, its more of the line sizes coming up to the plate, and the solenoid orifices. Our 400hp LS plates use 3an fittings on the plate, and 6an for the nitrous, 4an for the fuel, coming up to the solenoids. From the solenoids to the plate, we use a specialized high output hose that is 4an with a 3an nut on the end.
