Default What's this part?

I purchased a 2000 WS6 that had this on it. Don't know much about it other than it's an eye sore. I would imagine it's nitrous related and if i remove it can i just put a normal schrader valve cap back on like oem? Thanks for your help

Fuel pressure safety switch. The schrader guts were probly removed so you'll have to replace them when capping it.

That being the case I will probably wait and just replace and upgrade to nicer fuel rails but I am glad you told me this.

What is the purpose of this? Is it actually for nitrous because I was just taking a guess in the dark. Thank you for your help

That switch is often used with nitrous kits so in case you lose fuel pressure it will cut power to the nitrous kit so you will not run lean

It actually looks like your adapter is leaking/seeping a little on the switch side of the adapter fitting. I believe the schrader stem is the same size as tire/tube so you should be able to fing and get one really cheap then cap it.

It was mine, my favorite picture of the car. Cool to see someone else likes it too, and uses the picture.
