I mounted my NX switch panel under the steering wheel but I have a truck. The arm/heater button works like this-you basiclly cant have the heater on when the n20 is armed. Up is heater down is n20 arm! Here are some pics of mine but its in a truck!

I bought a second TCS panel filler plate, cut and glued the two together , and hollowed out the inside of it. I still had to glue it to the console though

on the sides of the switches you have the little staircase locking thing a majig i lifted it up and put a piece of 16 gauge wire in there raising the stair case on (one side of the switches only) and it snapped into place nice and tight, and the last piece of the stair thing is not all the way in though you cant tell, so if you want to take it out you can just use a flat head and pry it back.

ditto, the 16 gauge wire trick works great for the 3 wide panels.

You can also use some 1/8-1/4" foam weatherstripping wrapped around the panel, or about 14 wraps of electrical tape.

i should've just let the board speak, rather than do a jerry-rig really quick.
