if you have a 12 disc changer the panel is open on that side...so 'hiding' the bottle would be out of the question...

I don't have factory amp or 12 disc. Will the bottle fit on that side in my car?

Does anyone have pictures of the 860 spare tire mount in a Firebird? I tryed intsalling mine and none of the holes seam to line up with any thing but it fits my buddys Camaro perfectly.

Did it come with instructions? Your only supposed to use the center hole or something, and not use the spacer? Maybe someone with a scanner could send you the directions, I don't have a scanner. Not even sure I can find my instructions in the mess I have going on.

Yeah I just installed one last week. You only use one of the holes on a Firebird, near where the piece that holds the spare tire attaches. Then you have to drill two holes on the other side that match the holes in the plate.

Here is a link to the instructions

Like NHRATA01 said, Firebirds use different holes than a Camaro uses.
Hope that helps.

I used a nitro dave's mounting bracket that I had powder coated in wrinkle black. I think it looks much better this way, it almost perectly matches the center console. I have yet to install the blow down tube, It will be flexible and out under the rear passenger seat, and when my heater and remote gauge get here, I'll use a small length of hose to hide the sensors under the seat or bracket to keep it from looking cluttered. I also have a set of NOS quick release brackets on the way now. Too bad this thing isn't drilled for them.

Thank You, all this helps it appears that my spare tire/power antenna bracket sticks out to far(or the bracket has extra metal). It looks like I can make it work by cuting about 1 1/2" off the area where the 860 mount is bent down.

I just got this ND mounting plate and In have the NOS brackets on them, the 7" Dia. ones but no quick release, the fronts line up perfect but i had to drill new holes in the rear bracket to make it fit on the mounting plate, it was about 1" too thin.

Heres a few photos of the bottle mounted in my car. Through the windshield its hard to see because of the tinted windows. I love how it looks, it belongs on the tunnel.

And here is a photo of my nitrous pressure gauge:

So would a 15 lb. bottle with a remote opener fit in the spare tire spot with the 860 mount? Thinking if I sell the zex kit and get the NOS one I might bump up the bottle size to 15 so I wouldn't have to go get refills as much.
