What will 150hp shot do to my MPH????

I'm trapping 119mph in the quarter and want to add 150hp shot to my car. I'm wondering what kind of MPH I can expect through the traps?
I'm running about 400rwhp right now, but I'm not sure since I haven't had it dyno'd.

What others have said is accurate... I was running 119 on motor with a 6 speed with a 355 LT1 with about 420RWHP...
I swapped out the T56 for a TH400 and dropped to 117mph but my et was better...
Put the 150 shot to it and it went 131..... with the t56 still in there i probably would have gone 133 so that's like 14 mph.... I'd say expect that he'll pick up 12-14mph if he's squeezing it out the hole and in every gear till the finish line...

And to be honest, I'd love to go with a 200 shot, but I'm scared my motor will blow since the internals aren't forged. I guess I could always put smaller jets in it.

My car is going on a little diet BTW
not much maybe 150Lbs.....and a 200 shoot ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
So what do you guys think I will get taking my car from 3800 to 3650 and adding a 200 shot. Car is going 11.50s average now at 118 with a 1.60 short. I am running 3,800 TP yank with 3.73 gears. I will also be going from 26x10.5 ETs to 27x11.5 Hoosiers and front runners. I am going to spray a direct port with a 20 inch lead line out of the hole

Remember beyond a 150hp nitrous shot and the ring lands on the stock pistons don't last long. There are guys running tons of bottles with 150hp shots and smaller with lower timing and proper tune with no problems.
TwoFast4Lv- you better be thinking about a 12bolt rear if you plan to spray because you will need it.
