Found these guys over in England(www.wizardsofnos.com) and their US distributer is www.Racetested.com I was wondering if anyone has used their stuff. Especially the solenoids.

lol. I guess you're new to the nitrous section of LS1Tech?

Go to their forums and ask about some of the American products. Just ask, don't say you're from the U.S. or support the U.S. in anyway. Pretend you're from the UK or something... or just read around on the WoN site, especially their forum. The owner of the company, "Noswizard," writes as though he's the sole inventor of nitrous and nitrous products, and everything he has is superior to that of anything American made.

Here's a great example... "generic" NX purge solenoids are bad: http://www.noswizard.com/bboard/viewtopic.php?t=2251

wtf? Does physics not exist in the UK?

By the way, there have been a couple of threads in the past in this forum. If you can find them, you'll see what people have thought in the past.

Read through the post and you'll see some of the foolish thinking of the Brits concerning nitrous. They have engineered their stuff for little delicate 4 banger **** pots in Europe, not American Muscle in the V-8 realm, so beware the thinking is biased. Now with that said, they do have some good ideas, but bashing the USA WILL never get them a foot hold over here, where they could actually make some real money.

About the only thing that I liked about their stuff was the solenoids. A max of a 100 hp shot is just stupid. You can see what I have done to my GTO in my sig. I want to upgrade my clutch/fuel system and hit it with a 150-200 shot progressive setup. Still can't make up my mind of dry vs wet though. And yes I have searched. Well I actually just went through all the pages of the nitrous section.

I've considered changing to their nitrous noids after having so many problems with my current noids because I hear they're perfect for progressive pulsing. The real problem is, though, that they're really expensive and don't flow for ****. I'd have to spend $500 for 2 solenoids to see the 250-300 shot that I want to see.

At the moment, Zex race noids and the fjo minicontroller. The solenoids were awesome for me before I mounted them on the head and started using the controller, now I can't keep one together for more than a week. Fuel solenoid has never had any sort of issue, but the nitrous solenoid never works right. I am gonna drop a pro-power nx lightning noid in there and see how it does.

Not wanting a bash fest, I asked cuz some manufacturers highly recommend their line of products for compatability, like pro-controllers, the frequency of the pulse modulation and what-not has to be right. I would also recommend getting the noids away from the heat as much as possible. On a race car it would be different, having it on the head for a DD is most likely keeping it way too hot. GL

I don't know about Zex, but I'm getting ready to install a teflon puck in my NOS soleniods, since I have a progressive controller on mine. Supposedly, this will extend the life of the soleniod.

I think it's so funny on that website. The people on there basically worship the owner "NOSWIZARD." No matter what he says everyone agrees with him and tells him how smart he is.

The main problem good old Trevor Langfeild is that amidst all that crap he spews there are a couple of truths which can make him seem more credible than he is.

Haha, I dont even frequent this nitrous section very much but I knew how this thread would turn out before clicking on it. I cant believe I actually read that jackasses book. That guy has his head so far up his *** its not even funny. Heres the cliff notes from the book to save you guys some time and money. "My WON products are the best. I created nitrous oxide. NOS , NX, zex, any company besides mine sucks. Stainless braided line for nitrous isnt good, use my cheap plastic hoses. I quadrupled the horsepower on my james bond gokart with the power of NAAWWWSSS.
