Question which Nitrous to run???

i have daily driven 02 SS with 54,000 miles with all the bolt ons. i have been thinking about nitrous for a little while.
*since its a daily driver do you think putting nitrous in it is a good idea?
*how reliable is nitrous?
*whats the biggest shot you would run on stock injectors, stock fuel pump, etc.
*whats the best kit i like the Nitrous Express, NOS, & Zex?
*wet or dry? ive looked for a few threads but never really answered my ? *which is safer and will have less of a chance to hurt the motor?
*i wont be shooting it alot just every now and then, but i have heard people talk about how nitrous hurts your motor even if its not that much is that true?

im sorry for all the ?'s im new to nitrous i dont really know much about it.

***one last thing if any of yall can post up or send me pics of your nitrous setup in your 98-02 Camaro i'd greatly appreciate my email is JesseClamp@comporium.net***

THANKS Hunt

Here's a few threads to take a look at. It will help you pick and understand. Then you can figure out your goals and select the proper equipment. "Vendors" at the top are your friends. Hope this helps.

1) nitrous wouldnt matter if its your daily driver b/c it only turns on when u want it to
2)nitrous is very reliable as long as it is done right (have a shop install it for you)
3) with injectors it really doesnt matter to much if your running a wet shot and i would get a fuel pump any way and run a 125 or 150 and get it tuned
4)there is no really "best" kit. i would go with harris speed works or dyno tune. they are great kits and are amazing in price.
5) i would run the wet kit if i were u

nitrous is very reliable as long as it is done right (have a shop install it for you)
Or you can read the instructions that come with the kit and read David Vizard's nitrous book (old but 90% relevant, $17) and install it yourself and save enough to buy a nice, big fuel pump and all the fittings. It's an easy job - if you can replace an intake manifold you can install a nitrous kit - a wet one for an LS1 is only a tiny bit harder to install than a dry because you have to tap into the fuel supply.

Even adding a retard box and/or a rpm window switch is easy - MSD has all that covered in their instructions.

No rocket science in nitrous - just a lot of common sense, reading of the manuals and starting by learning with a 75-100 shot is the way to go.

look at the harris speed works kit as it wont set you back all that much and youll still get a high quality product and if you get a timing tuner it also has a built in window switch so that will save you some money im going to say 800- 1000 installed with all the goodies

i payed 427 for everything with a window switch/tps wot intergrated togther with there multi gear lock out. from dyno tune -bottle heater...BADASS deals

the best way to go is with a window switch because you can set it to cut the nitrous before red line and start at a certian rpm or a certian gear shift...
