Default NPB but service engine light on??

11.2 on a 150 shot was the last pass at the track, and drove the car back home no problems at all , the car was normal. Started the car next day and the service light came on. The car still have stock tune, only TR6 plugs. The last pass I put 110 octane fuel on it and that was all that day.
What could it be, just guessing before I take it to scan it? what usually happens, spark plug burnt, or fluids?

Was the 110 leaded fuel?

Your best bet is to just get the code read and go from there.

My guess...you ran leaded fuel and killed the O2 sensors. But that's only a guess. I'd start there first.

I'd slow down there a bit...SCAN first!! I'll bet P1137 or P1035 something in the 02 sensors if leaded fuel was used. Right or wrong, I mix 110 Renegade with 93 Sunoco. I get those codes EVERY time I race and mix this way. I kept my Hypertech just to clear codes and by the second full tank of 93 Sunoco, i'm gold again. Get your computer read after another tank of straight unleaded. Clear it and see if you get the code again.

He stated that he drove it home from the track and it was fine so I would suspect the plugs are fine.

Just pull the code and post it up, its the easiest way to diagnose your problem.

More than likely it was leaded if it was 110 from the track. Run through a tank with a few good WOT runs to "clean" the o2's and then just un-hook your battery for a few mins. 30 mins is overkill but it wont ever hurt anything if u have nothing better to do.

Does unhooking the battery reset the pcm? I thought you had to pull the ign and batt. fuses under the hood with the key forward to access. for the pcm to reset?

All the unleaded race gas I've seen here is 100 octane, just so you know. You can also clean your o2's w/ some aerosal non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner. Will clean residue of the sensors and evaporate away.
