300 shot spark plugs
what plugs and heat range do I need for a 402 with 11.5-1 compression with Trick Flow heads and a 300 shot. The plug refrence chart doesnt list plugs for the Trick Flow heads for a LS1 just LT1's.

you need a tr8 Its listed in the faq. as far as the part # I have ran the tr7 with a 200 shot and up to a 250 but melted one plug. Good luck and make sure you have your timing retarded. I would start at a 200 shot and work your way up. Better safe then sorry.

I wouldnt use a projected tip plug such as this from what I have heard. I just ran a big shot at the track with some non projected "tr8's" Part number r5671a-8 #4554.
I havent checked them yet but i dont think there are problems. I gapped them at .030" and rounded all the edges off.

NO, but they work fine for people, i never had problems.
IMO, anything over 175 shot id go non projected, much less apt to blow up ground straps and cook cylinders. I shot a 250 this weekend with timing pulled, race gas, and those type of plugs, plugs looked just fine....
