Default 750 mighty demon carb

I have an almost new 750 mighty demon carb. It is a GC series. Mech secondaries. 75/84 jets and a 5.5pv.

I'm switching to a 850 cfm for my 383 ci motor. This will work fine on stock ci. Cost $550 new. I will take $400 shipped + paypal fee's.

About 100 street miles and a little dyno time with it.

Pics here, on post #59. SOLD!

Great price on this! Not trying to jack your thread, but do you think a BG street demon 650 is too small for a stock LQ4, vic jr, and torquer 3 cam?

I ran a 650 Mighty demon on a 413sbc and a victor intake without any issues, I was turning 6500rpm, when I jumped to 427sbc cubes I had to up the carb to a 750, If you where running a duel plane intake then I would suggest the 750cfm as the duel plane has longer runners and requires more air/fuel.

Most people from what I seen run 750's on stock ls1's and lq4's. Not to say a 650 will not work. I had two big name carb shop's recomend a 850cfm for my setup of 383 ci.

What size cam? If you already have a 650 then try it. If you are buying one then look into a good 750 and call it a day. Or call a carb shop and ask them what they suggest.

Oh, I see. A torquer v3. That cam has a lot of lift.
