the torquer is a little less aggresive than the ms3 so it makes a little less power up top. but it seems the tsunami makes a bit more topend than an ms3.id say if you put a fast 102/102 and 1 7/8 headers on the tsunami you could probly see around 490rwhp

You have to have ls3 or 7 heads to run the fast 102 but you could do the 92 combo! The torquer 3 will run way better on the street. Personally I think the tsunami and ms3 are too big on stock cubes but thats my 2cents lol.

Oh did ya hear elliotts ws6 made 358rwhp!!!!! Cant remeber the tq. Ported tb and the powerbond pulley make a big difference! Thats on a dynojet!

i beg to differ my freind, they dont make the fast 92 anymore. the fast 102 replaced the 92 for the ls1. the torquer makes better power 3k rpm and under but makes quite a bit more from 4k and up. but your right the torquer would run alot better on the street.

well ive been doing some saving and some budgeting, And it looks like i should be able to get a H/C package the beginning of next month.
here are the options im considering, torquerv3 231/234 6xx/5xx with 5.3 stg2.5 heads or tsunami cam 235/240 .6xx/.6xx with the 2.5 ls6 heads.
ive been doing research on both, and the tsunami cam with those heads made 463rwhp and 411twtq without a FAST92. and the torquer setup usually makes about 430ish. so its alot to think about till then.
That would be sweet! looks like we may have a good group of real quick ls1's at the track this yr... put that group of hemi chargers in the low 12's in their place..

I have not had the oppertunity to work with any of the 9" for a F-Body but sorry to hear that, never fun esp. when you pay good money to get something that should fit nicely.

Whats not fitting? Both of my QP housings went in without any issues, well, except I had to modify the torque arm bracket for the Spohn t/a. I expect a little bit of that from the aftermarket though..... Other than that it was a cake walk....

Well I had to drill out all the holes to even accept the stock hardware, and their torque arm bracket was off a bunch, didn't fit their housing. did you modify your stock backing plates to work with the bolt in 9" axles? I didn't expect that ether..the allen bolts they sent had to be ground down to fit in their housing and yes I am just now at the same pnt you found your self..modifying the torque arm bracket for the UMI t/a. I wished at more than one pnt today I knew your number LOL

See, I've dealt with the aftermarket enough to expect those kinds of things I guess. Sorry to hear you were having issues with it. Sent you a PM for future reference lol....

I had the same issue. I ground the housing down a little to fit the bolt heads which hold the backing plates in. The tourque arm bracket was a little bit of a pain but you are almost there. now it is time to get the torque arm mounted properly.Which carrier did you go with?

I think so. I've also done a Moser 9" in a 98 Camaro and it too was just as big of a pain as the QP

Hey Brandon, I went with the Strange housing, Daytona pinion bearing, and a light weight Detroit locker...
