Soon as i get the CC bill for all this, ill pay it off. order everything else but the intake manifold (last thing to buy). Get everything together. swapped in. install the 3:90 gear. then trailer it up to tom to tune.

I would have it done next month but but im heading to vegas with some friends. so between the hotel, ticket, and cash, its setting me back

No, had the tea .650 springs installed and 0.030 taken off.

I had TJ Wong do my tune also. I was a nervous wreck.

Yeah the 28th is when we are going to woodburn. It should be a good time... I'm going to order a tune next week and see if that fixes my problem with the crackeling that's coming out of my exhust when I'm getting on it. I read some differnt threads and they said it could be burnt valve, fouled plugs, injector problem, ring going out, tunning issue, **** who knows it could be all of them...

I have not ran the car at the track. I've only done it once and that was when I first got the car. I ran a 13.99@102. Being a m6 and never drag racing before I kinda fell asleep at the tree...

^^^nice mike it will be awesome to see that baby goin again.

well ive been doing some saving and some budgeting, And it looks like i should be able to get a H/C package the beginning of next month.
here are the options im considering, torquerv3 231/234 6xx/5xx with 5.3 stg2.5 heads or tsunami cam 235/240 .6xx/.6xx with the 2.5 ls6 heads.
ive been doing research on both, and the tsunami cam with those heads made 463rwhp and 411twtq without a FAST92. and the torquer setup usually makes about 430ish. so its alot to think about till then.

I would go for the torquer3 and the 5.3 heads for stock cubes. That would be a nasty setup for sure!

ya i would get better drivability with that setup maybe? i cant decide though. 463hp sounds really nice, and that was done on a car at texas speed with the same boltons as me.

here are the dynographs from both setups

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...o-results.html

if you ask me the tsunami setup seems pretty solid.
