Ya that seems like a pretty good deal man that would be sweet, they are super fun to drive I think. Its crazy how much those things have came down in price the last couple years.

No kidding on the price, even at 22k you're still getting a lot of car.
So I figured out that building a turbo stick shift car is a royal headache figuring out the fine details, saw this coming Right now I'm working on tire choice, everything is backwards with a turbo. My favorite method of coming out with a little spin on slicks isn't great for a turbo, won't spool as fast. Sounds crazy, but I'm seeing that a dead hook is what it'll want. Gonna need a 9" and some nitrous I guess, lol.

Not sure. He will be looking at it today. Made one pass with a nasty vibration developed after the 1/8 mile. Didn't see anything obvious at the track. Could be a wheel weight or any number of things. I'm sure Mike will post what he finds when he finds it.

Yeah, like Cody said, I got to make one pass last night (that would be pass number 7 for the WHOLE summer)....
Car started shaking pretty bad around the eighth mile. Felt like something in the driveline. The last time this happened I ignored it, ran again and popped my trans yoke at the starting line. I jacked the car up at the track last night, but it was getting dark, didn't bring a flashlight and couldn't see anything obvious. So,,,, this time I saved the car plus the embarrassment and just drove it home. I'm headed out there now to take a look. I have a nasty suspicion it's the output shaft on the trans, or the new billet trans yoke is starting to twist.... The way my luck has been this year, I seriously doubt it's anything simple...

Well, I've been checking things on the car for most of the afternoon. Can't seem to find anything obvious (of course). Splines on the trans yoke look great, no slop in the u-joints or rearend yoke. Hell I even ran the wheels/tires down to Schwabs to check the balance and they were ok. So, that means either the clutch is somehow out of balance, or something inside the trans is not happy.
