AAAAARGH! Just got home from PIR, the mustang went 10.01, shoot! And it's banned from the track now, broke out in the 1/8 again, can't have it back until it gets a chassis cert and one of us gets a license. lol, oh well, tried. Sure runs like a top though, still can't get the 60' in the 1.3's though, still 1.4's (not bad for the stock 4-lug rear 
well, with a spool and 35spline axles, haha). If we're gonna cert this thing we might as well put a better cam in it, this thing runs like nuts for having a cheap motor, heck the cam was $50

so i was talkin to this and i told him i drive a camaro. he goes ya but the trans ams are aloooot faster, so i tell him they really arent they are the same, infact T/As are heavier. then he was talkin about how it had a 5.6 litre motor pusjing 450(stock). i dont even try to argue with these people. i just shook my head and agreed lol

I know exactly what you mean. About 8-9 years ago I was out at Woodburn and some guy in the staging lanes had an 89-90 style C4 Corvette. It had headers, a few boltons and a tune. No nitrous, no supercharger etc.. I asked what he was hoping to run and he told me he thought it should run mid 11's lol..... Took everything I had to keep from laughing in his face... I just said good luck and walked away. I think he ended up running a 13.9.

another funny story, my freinds step dad has a 96 vette and he swore up and down thta it had an ls1, i called bs, had my freind send me a pic of the motor and sure enough it was an lt1. and he was sayin that he beat 2 crotch rockets in that car lol

Was at PIR in the Mustang, and some guy came over and asked about the car. He looked at the rear end and saw the 4 lug wheels, and promptly said "you should upgrade that, it'll break". I said we will when it breaks (and it won't). Went out and made a pass, came back, and saw his mustang run, it was like a 14 something, and back then I was in the mid 10's Then another guy with a 5.0 foxbody was behind the Camaro in the staging lanes, we lined up, ran them, and when I launched he evaporated in the mirror. Came back around and he came over "Does that have an ls1? It sounds weird, and it's freaking fast!" (he ran a 16.2, lol). Me: "Nope, V6 with a cam and gears". He had the weirdest look on his face

I think we have all had stories like these. LOL Here is a classic.
When in Idaho after the track closed up, we started doing car shows. I had the hood up at a show and sat behind the car listening to the idiots. I don't know how many times people looked under the hood and said he has a supercharger. Once I even saw a guy pointing out to his kid, "see the belt where it goes around the supercharger" and he was pointing to my altenator. ROTFLMAO

The bike just has a two brothers exhaust on it. We launched at about 60 mph and he was about the same distance apart the whole time we ran. I let off shortly before the end of 5th gear, I have hit limiter in 4th and did not want to in 5th.

Anyone interested in a highly competitive NHRA stock eliminator car? There is a 94 Camaro C/SA This car runs .7 seconds under the index. Recently went 10.68 at the national event in Indy. If you don't know what stock rules are, you have to use stock displacement, stock heads, stock lift cam. This is an LT1 car for $25k. I know this is alot for an LT1 Camaro, but for the class it runs, it is a steal. Also he has a spare LT1 engine and tranny for an additional $4k.

Stock eliminator is a HARD class to compete in, those guys don't mess around. But man, they do amazing things. Worst part is they don't like to talk about their cars like other guys, since that's the whole secret to their game.
