basically i was on a 4 lane road 2 lanes going each way and i was in the right hand inside lane and the lady next to me slowed down then stopped and apparently she stopped to let a car turn coming the other direction to cut across our two lanes to get to a apartment complex, she didn't see me and thought she was clear and i t boned her. 7800 bucks in damage i'm rollin in a 2010 jetta right now lol kinda sucky but we will see what happens if its totaled i may buy it back and do a ls1 6speed swap and finish my 67 caprice..lol idk we will see.

I can see the damage a lot better versus the picture you sent to my phone. At least you walked away w/o getting hurt bro. Look at it this way, if they don't total it, you will get that new freshly painted front end you have always wanted.

If it's 7800 I don't think they will total it cause our cars blue book at like 8500. Then again maybe not.

at the very least you can buy it back and pick up a clean v6 or shell and just put the drivetrain in there. prolly have lots of extra cash left over too

You should think about maybe buying the Turk. I've been talking with my brother (who currently owns a Orange 72 Buick Skylark) and I might sell the T/A and help build it or buy it outright. He's got a Chevy 455 block, 12 bolt and a 4 speed tranny for it. It's a hugger orange as it sits right now with white vinyl interior. It's going to be a monster when it's complete.

It's going to be exactly like the GSX. My brother has located and found so many rare GSX parts. In fact, I beleive he has everything to piece one together. He spent many countless hours on the web locating and bidding on them. He took first place in high school many years ago for best car. He bought it back in the mid 90's from an old lady who had it parked in a barn. 24k original miles, not a single flaw. 8K he picked it up for. Even has a rare factory option bumper that has holes for the exhaust pipes to come out and a actual GSX rear spoiler.
