I did sell the ls6. I'm hoping the intake is ok, but it's sounding like a plug or coil pack. My misfire is only on one cylinder I'm guessing I fouls one due to the intake and no retune, we will see tomorrow. IfI fix it tomorrow I'm gonna schedule a retune with tom, lower it get some drs and ride off into the sunset

Just an FYI, an intake manifold swap isn't going to throw the tune off enough to foul a plug. You still have a MAF that will keep everything within "safe" operations. It could still be a fouled plug (plugs do go bad), but changing an intake manifold and then not getting it tuned will not cause a plug to foul. Not even close. Sounds to me like other issues though.

Try this. Set the car in neutral, running with parking brake on. Get a squirt bottle with water, rev the engine for a bit (3-4k rpms) enough to get the headers nice and hot. Start squirting each primary tube on each cylinder. The one that doesn't steam up much is the culprit. It will be quite evident if it's a bad misfire. If it's a random misfire this technique won't help much.

Another thing you can try is spraying a bit of starting fluid around the intake manifold while it's running. If the car is idling while doing this, then it revs up when you hit it with starting fluid, you have a vacuum leak at the manifold.

Yeah. I'll connect with you next week sometime. I'm in Canada right now racing. Sunny and in the 80's. Gotta love it.

Thanks for the info mike, I will try spraying the water, I've allready checked for vacuume leaks. Another bit of info is my car is throwing a soft code cylinder 8 misfire so it is only doing this under a load. I'll change the plugs cuz its cheap lol. Of that don't work maybe take the intake apart

Shelby's lawsuit was a shame, but his involvement with Ford might have had something to do with it. They're hyper protective:

"Then we had the almost comedic situation of Ford threatening to sue Ferrari over alleged infringement of the former’s trademarked F150 brand (attached to its top-selling pick-up truck), the Scuderia having used the same designation for its 2011 Formula 1 car by way of recognising 150 years of Italian unification. Fortunately, sane heads prevailed quickly on this one, and Ferrari altered the name of its new challenger to F150th Italia."

Yes, they are way more accurate than a crush sleeve. It basically uses the same principle as a 9" center section, using a collar and shims instead of relying on the amount of crush/preload from the sleeve.
