I honestly didnt even think to ask about fixing the a/c when I called Wong's, I was thinking they do performance stuff only.

So I went to Sherwood deq today and failled! No codes but they got me by looking under the car with a mirror on a stick thing and noticing my non existant cats. They also though it was very strang that the computer said the cats were ready when I had no cats . I'm going to try another deq tommorow and see if they happen to not look under the car.

I actually live in Sherwood. We moved here from Portland about 5 years ago to be closer to Newberg (wife got a Bachelors and Masters degree at George Fox in Newberg).

you better hope they didn't put a note into the computer or you're pretty much doomed

Well if they did then I'll just have to put cats on it so I can pass visually because the obd reads ok. They even told me as much. If I need to get cats I'm getting a couple of these:

Thanks for the order, I really appreciate it! Bob

The FBody scene here in Vegas is off the hook! I might pack my bags and move out to all this sunny weather!

Ziplining in Bootleg Canyon and a whole lot of R&R with the wifey. Maybe even rent a Ferrari and get sideways up the strip.

Well guys the LS6 motor I going to pick up is infact a LS1. Wrong casting number and the valley towers were rough not smooth. So instead I'm picking up a complete LQ4 on Monday

Yeah it comes with everything.
Joe: I'm going to do a lot of things to it I'm shooting for at least 600whp or pretty close to it. And who knows maybe more, nothing wrong with a **** load of power and motor that can handle it oh and by the way it was the same price for both so I think it was a no brainer.

Nice man that's awesome where are ya getting that? What are the details on it? (year miles?) I would say there is deff advantages and disadvantage to each manly weight of iron block but then gives option for l92 heads.

Money, so are u planning on boosting or adding spray? 600 rwhp is a pretty tall order for a 408NA. 520-530 is the realiatic hp goal for a na 408. Id say if you got more than 550 rw out of it you would have a high high high compression track only car.

Im sorry im rambling and it sounds like im picking on you, i assure u im not im just throwin my opinion out there.

How bout this, that will be a sweet build dude! Lol id love to have a lq4 408. 408 iron block is the best bang for the buck there is in the ls world.....ok im done rambling now

Iron block is the only way to go for turbo, kinda a waste of time for an aluminum block. That will be nasty tim. I wana do a new motor in the next couple years. My two ideas are
#1 magnacharged or procharged 408(maggie is a lil too pricey)
or
#2, 418 or larger aluminum block. Big AFR heads, big cam with no expenses left behind
#3, this is just a dream that will never happen. 440LS7!! Now that right there is my dream motor
#4, ( this is the one most likely to happen) aluminum block 402CI LS2

as u all can seei really have no idea what motor ill eventually go with lol. But if win the lotto there will be a 600+rwhp 440 under my hood lol
