Im really tired of this unknown issue my car has. I think im gonna bite the bullet and take it to tom, i just hope i dont go further in debt havin someone else fix it

Take it Tom and figure it out. It was running proper prior to the fast intake, so something is screwy because of it.Summer is here man! It's time to rally!

Its only at high rpm, and it ran fine for about a month after the fast. I have no clue what is goin on so ita time for tom to take a look

Hey bro I might know what's going on. My car was doing the same thing at high R's. I thought it was a valve and when I replaced the heads I pulled out the push rods and guess what, 5 bent rods. Replaced them and no more cutting out. So you might want to pull your heads and make sure before you go and spend any money. I'm almost positive that's what the problem is.

Don't pull the heads just pull the valve cover's here you will be able to check to make sure you don't have anything with your rockers and you will be able to check the pushrods to make sure they are not bent.

Thanks poncho and tyler. I knew not to pull the heads, tomorrow im gonna pull a valve cover and check those rods. Wont take long and it will rule out or solve my problem

No they are not stock. They are 4.125 hardened pushrods. Kinda makes me think they arent bent

The stock size is 7.4 I think.

I have my stock push rods if need be. Not sure if they are the rigt length due to aftermarket cam

Man you guys make me so jealous with your drivable cars. I am a long way off with my third gen lq4 swap... just the underdog... cant friggen wait to cruise around.
