My goal is to clear 700 horsepower if I can, but as long as I break 600, I'll be happy.
It's an LQ4 out of a 2005 Silverado with 113K on it. I bought it at B&R in Corvallis for 1050.00. It's way more complete than I thought it would be.
The basic game plan is to tear apart the engine and inspect it. Install LS2 timing chain, LS2 oil pump, LS6 cam, LS7 lifters, LS6 valve springs and LS9 head gaskets. I also want to do ARP rod bolts and head bolts.
After that I'm going to put it in my 2000 Silverado along with a 3000 stall, 4L80E with shift kit mated to a NP149 AWD transfer case. Then I've got my stock rear end with a trutrac installed.
I'm hoping to push this 5300lb brick into the 11s in the quarter mile.
EDIT
Whoops. I forgot to mention the part about me turbocharging it. lol. I'm also installing a Turbonetics HP76 turbo.

Ive been layin low. Super busy working and doing a new lil build for the vette. I lost compression in cylinder 7 from doin doughnuts in 3rd for a long period of time near rev limiter. I didnt expect my motor to last this long cause i would beat the **** out of it every day i drove it. It has 24k miles of straight up beatings
