i go to WOU too and yes i was back home it's caprice SS over there, the same engine and interior and the exterior, here i've had honda accord but then a smart girl hit it in Corvallis so i'm looking for an F-body

I'm goin. I'll try to see if my buddy in the dallas can go, 97 SS with LTs and spray. I gotta wash the Z and what not. How much does the rear seat back weigh? Curious if its even worth takin out. I'm tryin to get to 12.6s. I've taken my bottle out, 30lbs or so. My sub will come out, 20lbs or so. I don't know if its goin make a difference though. Damn cars a pig. See you guys at PIR.

Damn, the seat back weighs that much? What all is involved in takin out. If it actually weighs that much then it might be worth it if it isn't a pain get out.

It's really easy. Two bolts hold the upper seat back portion where it pivots, and one bolt holds each of the lower cushions down in front. You'll need to pull the rear seat belts also, or unscrew the retainers that attach to the upper portion of the seat back. Either way is pretty easy. If you pull the seat belts, it's another 6-8 pounds but you'll need to pull the interior panels back to get to them, and they attach with "torx" type fasteners.
