I finally got the drag wheels setup on the car. Thanks to Cody for letting me use his prostars for awhile. The ET streets don't seem to hook as well as the Nitto's, at least not on the street. I'm hoping they will hook better at the track once they get some heat in them and I can adjust the air pressure. Here's a few shots of the car with the prostars.

FWIW, my car desperately needs some subframe connectors. I can feel the car twist when taking off from a stoplight. It's a pretty crazy feeling.

Man I wish,,,, but there's no chance in hell for air under the front tires the at time being lol... The chassis needs to be sorted out in a big way. I got layed-off before I could complete the suspension mods. It still needs: lca's, adj torque arm, and subframe connectors. I can feel the chassis twisting when I take off so it's unloading the ps rear tire on the launch. Also, the instant center is all jacked up being lowered and having the stock torque arm on there.

Not sure how these stack up to the MT drag radials. They are supposed to be quite a bit better than my Nitto drag radials though.

I'm not too worried about breaking anything, just worried about the car getting squirrely and ending up in the wall lol... I broke the tires lose in third gear last night so I'm a little nervous. Just hoping the track is prepped well tonight or I might be calling it early.

Well,,, I got kicked off the track last night.

Those MT ET Streets HOOOOOOOK well. I only made three passes all night. Track was pretty busy, and they had those damn electric cars (Tesla's) show up. Must have been about 8 electric cars and a few electric cycles and believe me, they brought a very interesting crowd with them as well. The first two passes were just testing the launch rpm with the MT's. Found out they hold at a 38-4200rpm clutch dump, but will NOT hold a 5000rpm dump lol.... I'm positve once the chassis is sorted out the tires will hold a higher launch rpm and the 60' time will reduce. On the third pass I was lined up with Eric (SOM Z28). After waiting for almost 40 minutes in the staging lane, it was about 9:30pm. I wanted to get my "hero" pass in before getting kicked off for being too loud after 10pm like the last time. Here is the pass I got out of it:

RT - 0.004
60' - 1.815
1/8 ET - 7.459
1/8 mph - 97.83
1/4 ET - 11.434
1/4 mph - 124.67

Sorry, no video this time as we didn't have a chance to borrow the dig vid camera before we left for the track.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the car so far. Really happy to see the mph climb, and that was my best EVER reaction time. I also had one 1/8th mile run that showed 98.08mph. Had I run that one out it probably would have trapped around 125mph. I've been playing around with shift rpm's trying to maximize the power output of the car.

That is all for now LOL.
