Seriously, I am not just bashing GM here (for a change) I really was dis pleased with the G6. Brand new only 333 on the clock. The cover for the moon roof rattled like no other, could not get it to stop.

I seriously had to pull over and check the rear tires as it sure felt like one was low, but they were both ok.

The drivers seat is behind the door pilllar making it hard to get in and out of unless you are only 5ft tall and have the seat all the way fwd.

I hope GM builds better cars than that for the sake of you folks who love um.

Check his sig out, the only mods are driveline mods and N2O. Off it he still ran a 11.7, thats almost 2 secs faster than your best time.

You said stock for stock? what's your version of stock, 6-lenghts? Stock Cobra's running in the 11's, please show the proof. Bonestock Z06's are capable of 11's, even GMHTP rag ran a 11.97 with an '04 straight from chevy and didn't even check tire pressure. I can link ya?
If your talking DR and air box, you can have them also so as to even the playing field.
I can bring up a thread I posted a couple years ago running a 450rwhp pullied cobra and all the blah, blah blah. I beat him 3 out of 3, or was it 5 out of five. I was stock and only running low 12's that day.

Hey, an old Gold Wing can run pretty damn good. My boss has an old 70's wing and it hauls butt, but did I mention my IronHead is also on the spray, hehehehe?

You know they make a non-supercharged Cobalt SS, that I could belive but they run mid 15's.

Hell Motor Trend the worst drives on the Planet managed a 14.40 at 99.02 mph in a bone stock Cobalt SS. That is like a Bone Stock 2V GT. Ford sure makes some fast V8s...

That really wasn't the point of my post. I don't car that they out sell GM in that department. Just more **** for me to out run. If you are buying a V8 GT, speed or power was most likely a consideration, you just didn't think it through if you bought a 2v 4.6. . GM does much better in sales then Ford. Overall who is number 1 in the world in Vehicle sales? Who is Number 4?

However, when combining all full-size trucks from General Motors—Silverado combined with the GMC Sierra—the GM offerings are currently leading the Ford F-Series by just over 50,000 units. The two GM trucks are counted separately though, since they are different vehicle brands



This is all the companies trucks combined, Super Duties and HDs.
Ford might out sell Chevrolet, but they don't out sell GM.
What concerns me is there are too many imports on the list and no Ford cars at all.

/agree! It'll be interesting to see what happens here in the next few years as the Camaro comes out--obviously it wont replace a Camry or a Crap'ola (forgot how to spell it, sorry) on the list but maybe we will see something? I would have thought the Mustang would have ranked (maybe I'm just totally naive). Also, I wonder where the Impala will go given the new, more aggressive looking body style.

Well overall sales wasnt my point. The point was, having more power and better performance doesnt always sell cars. In the end Ford is just a business and if they dont have to give more of anything to sell cars, they wont.
