Taurus's are nice.....good and reliable.
Seriously, I am not just bashing GM here (for a change) I really was dis pleased with the G6. Brand new only 333 on the clock. The cover for the moon roof rattled like no other, could not get it to stop.
I seriously had to pull over and check the rear tires as it sure felt like one was low, but they were both ok.
The drivers seat is behind the door pilllar making it hard to get in and out of unless you are only 5ft tall and have the seat all the way fwd.
I hope GM builds better cars than that for the sake of you folks who love um.

Check his sig out, the only mods are driveline mods and N2O. Off it he still ran a 11.7, thats almost 2 secs faster than your best time.

Hell, I could beat your pinto on my Harley, a '75 IronHead. It ran in the 12's back in '75 and was the fastest American ride going, faster the Vette. By the way, it's N2O rather than NO2, damn American Fomoco Ricers.

OK folks, here is the deal. First off, I posted about a G6 being a POS. Well, it is.. sobeit.
I will spank a stock c5 z06, bring it. You are not stock..
Bit off more than I chew, I think not Mikie....I eat cobalts even with the FOCI.

When I get modded he does not stand a chance, and you know that
c5's are SLOW... I spank them stock easily, you know that..at least I hope you are smart enoght to know that.

If your talking DR and air box, you can have them also so as to even the playing field.
I can bring up a thread I posted a couple years ago running a 450rwhp pullied cobra and all the blah, blah blah. I beat him 3 out of 3, or was it 5 out of five. I was stock and only running low 12's that day.
Hey, an old Gold Wing can run pretty damn good. My boss has an old 70's wing and it hauls butt, but did I mention my IronHead is also on the spray, hehehehe?

Check out the mods on the this Focus and look at the 1/4 mile time of it.

If you are buying a V8 GT, speed or power was most likely a consideration, you just didn't think it through if you bought a 2v 4.6. . GM does much better in sales then Ford. Overall who is number 1 in the world in Vehicle sales? Who is Number 4?

The Ford F-Series has been the best-selling vehicle in America for the past 24 years and the best-selling truck for the past 29. The Chevrolet Silverado is only second to the F-Series in U.S. sales. However, when combining all full-size trucks from General Motors—Silverado combined with the GMC Sierra—the GM offerings are currently leading the Ford F-Series by just over 50,000 units. The two GM trucks are counted separately though, since they are different vehicle brands
This is all the companies trucks combined, Super Duties and HDs.
Ford might out sell Chevrolet, but they don't out sell GM.
What concerns me is there are too many imports on the list and no Ford cars at all.

Well overall sales wasnt my point. The point was, having more power and better performance doesnt always sell cars. In the end Ford is just a business and if they dont have to give more of anything to sell cars, they wont.
