Well Mark was the first to hit a 10.xx this year. Man that car launches, might have been wheels up. I'll let Mark tell the story.

I took off early, after I got eliminated in 1st round, cause of my back.

I ran my '85 Dodge 1/2 ton. Was running back to back 18.78 in trials. so, Dialed a 18.77, but broke out with a 18.74, damn (should have listened to Zeike, he said knock .050 off). But I know why, truck had cooled off while waiting, and this time I didn't just let it idle all the way through staging, so it was a little cooler and thus a slightly quiker time. Will be ready next time though. Need to deep stage because the lag time before the truck actually starts moving, best reactions were .250, don't want to alter my timing so staging different is likely the answer?

Anyway, many moved on to round #2 and will let them tell the storys. had a good time all in all, but once we got close to Bremerton the Sun vanished?

I ran my 10 finally but blew it in the elims. I did my 1st then 2nd gear burnout and pulled up to the line, staged, hit the trans-brake button and nailed the gas and it rolled right though the lights. I forgot to put it back into 1st, DOH!!
Oh well I still got my best trap when I ran a 11.16 @128 leaving at a weak 2k rpm. And got my best ET with a 10.85@124 leaving at 3k rpm. I guess I still have some "getting used to" with this auto-transbrake deal.
It was a good time though, got to test out the new tow set-up and see all my CCC buddies. Man it was a long winter.

16.903 in the Blazer! Whoooot!

Sarah hit a 13.9something in the G35! Scanning those forums, it looks like she may have a standing record on her first outing! I'll have to scan the slip and post it up for "the guys" to sob over

Both of us out the first round, but both driving vehicles we're not that familiar with (though she'll be racing that one for the season), and it was cloudy, sunny, cloudy, I didn't finish my omlette in the morning, Doug had a better chair than me, there were storms in Kansas and I think I had a hangnail.

It was great seeing everyone out having fun again!

I handed him the win on a silver platter with a really nasty red light in the final (-.073)

Not real sure, I don't really pay attention to how the other teams are doing other than looking at who I have left to race.

I did have a pretty fun race with Don Berry in his Vette today, though. Round 3 I think it was... I knew he was sand bagging in the Vette, got him at the tree... we fender raced each other all the way down the track, and I snuck past him at the line.

Defintely a fun day at the track, and kickass racing as usual.

Stephs Car was in usual form. The car only veried 0.03 the ENTIRE day. Would have been better If I had not trew down a Nasty -0.010 light in the second round

Maybe next week I won't red light and go further

Team Ford did us a favor and took out 2/3s of the cars first round

Bremerton did a good job of running us today and Barb was on top of it!

That's an awesome way to start, Zeke!

The turquoise terror got ousted in the first round because I broke out... by 4 hundredths of a second. Oh well, it was only the 3rd time out and like the 9th total pass I've made in this car, so hopefully I'll get it down a little better as the season goes along.

The car does come off the line harder with the upgraded torque converter and exhaust, as it is more willing to spin the tires! Accounted for my times not being much better than stock... guess those Fusion ZRi tires aren't the bomb diggity for even a mildly stalled car.

If only I could have not red lighted. 15.80 dial in 15.812 run. My first practice run was a 15.813. The Lincoln might be Ford slow but its consistant as hell.

My car isn't right yet, but it is #1....for now. My best ws a 10.51 @ 127 w/1.48 60'. I did run a 1.43 60 that people told me the tires lifted on. But the car was inconsistent. 10.5, 10.7, & 10.8.

The last run I lost by .03 even with my .01 light because it nosed over twice at about half track. Might have been the meth squirting since it wasn't off? And it's still only making 10 psi. Once I get things figured out it should go a little faster.

But it was fun. Good to see EJ finally get his rig to make a clean pass. Pretty sure that car has 10.5s or better in it with some seat time.

Nice job Zeke!!

Good to see you guys! I am curious about the ruling on a dlr plate though as the car is street legal and drove from Kent. Seems kind of odd??

"Ford slow" hmmm... an oxymoron

Anyway, not a good start for our team, but we did acquire Kenny and the Barnetts. At the end of the day, those folks are going to make a difference.
