Default C5 M6 Boys come in!

You might want to look at some of the stuff in this thread next time you are whining like little girls about the rules on safety parts.

At least HE had metal that helped. It would slice that glass in your car and take you legs in a heart beat!

Taner is one of the fastest LT1 guys around.

I can't get the video to play, but that sounds NASTY! Aint no reason to skimp on safety gear IMO. If you can't afford that part of the game, you shouldn't be playing! Drop a couple grand on gear before it happens (& it WILL), or $100k at the hospital afterwards....it's your choice.

Like he said he was VERY glad he had Paid the $300 for the custom Kevlar blanket!

THey had two other LT1 options. One would work in any bellhousing. This place will custom make what you want with a inner liner that will catch all the parts

I am going to have the boys look at This stuff at SEMA and take Pics They make LT1 and LS1 SFI Bellhousings.
EVEN THE C5 CORVETTE!

I am just glad Taner was ok!

Yeah, I mean seems to me most safety stuff is pretty cheap when you look at what it is doing for you.

Yikes, good thing it wasn't worse. Yeah I need to do something about mine. I've located a blanket that might work, and a full bellhousing under development that will be SFI certified. You guys with Blue LT-1's are hard on your trannies!

Yep I am on the list for the vette 6-speed bell housing. the auto is allready for sale, and both are SFI. We will have one before next year for sure. the worst one I ever saw was at Puyallup Drag Strip, a 57 chev and it blew through the floor through the dash and wasted the windshied and top.

Yeah that Quicktime vendor is the place I'm looking at too. That might be the best way to go, because it sounds like the blanket worked, but still expanded to do alot of damage.
