totaled and fixable are 2 totaly difrent things

anything is fixable with time money and parts
total loss is a insurance term. meaning they are only gonna pay a % of what the car is worth. they are not gonna put 10k$ in a 3k$ car. not saying those numbers are acurate to your jeep there are just random figures

from what i remember most insurance companys total a car if the repair is 75% or more of the value. Ive seen a civic si with 10 grand in damage be $1000 short of being totaled.

its 70%. and its what the INSURANCE COMPANY thinks you vehicle is worth.....which is usually less than what you would hope. the typically go off of N.A.D.A. i believe

^ That's what I have always been told and I've dealt with 3 different insurance companies and they all have said about the same thing. They may have been off a little compared to one of the other companies but it wasn't much though.
