Default Plasti-Dipped my rims and painted Calipers

I had been wanting to try Plasti-Dip and have been meaning to paint my calipers. So i finally set aside some time.

I bought 2 cans of black plasti-dip
1 can of VHT Red Caliper paint
1 can of clear coat high temp enamel.

masked the appropriate things off for painting calipers and used note cards for the tires.

Sprayed a heavy initial coat on all the rims, and then went back with 2 lighter coats.

As for the calipers I did 2 layers of red and 2 layers of clear. Turned out very good and i have thought about buying some of the plast-dip clear to spray over the rims to get a little gloss back, but even with out it they turned out great.

I've attached a befor an after pic

I will take a couple more pictures when i get off work, I do need to touch up the center caps, but other than that it came out really well considering it only took about an hour and a half to paint.

it was really easy and quick. and honestly i think if i went over it one more time, and then once with a semi-gloss black when paint it would look amazing and from what ive read still be able to be removed easily but with the wheel paint provide durabilty
