Ok guys, I really know nothing about these front wheel drive LS motors. I know its from a 07 Impala SS and only has 18k miles on it. Its a complete dropout. Computer, harness and all accesories and starter etc. just as pictured. Also have the transmission. One cool thing for sure is it has the LS6 heads on it from the factory! The guy I get the engines from said to just take it and see what I could do with it. If I cant sell it whole I will part it out later down the road. I know I have to put a price on it and have NO idea what to ask.... I will try and answer any questions... Thanks!

On the front drive LS is it true the starter is actually mounted to the transmission bellhousing?

Yes, this is true. It can be relocated to the engine block if needed with a little work.
