Up for sale are 243 heads that are in good shape but one of the valves is slightly. Replace this valve and go. They are complete and assembled with valvesprings. $400

Bump for a good deal. Just replace one valve and you have a REAL set of LS6 243 heads. Heads look very clean as well.

The LS2 243's are different from the LS6 243's......

Difference is in the valves. You have a bent sodium filled valve those had solid valves. The claim is that the sodium filled valves are better for higher revs but I've not seen much proof of that. Still it seems LS6 heads tend to sell for more than LS2 heads.

Really wish the face of the head hadn't been set directly on the washing machine like that....

How much for them BARE? Does the valve seat show any scour marks or anything?
