I recently bought this transmission from a gentleman on here out of Houston, it is basically brand new. Came out of a wrecked 2010 Camaro SS that had 3K miles on it. I had intentions of swapping this in my TA for my turbo build, but I just don't have the time with everything I have going on. This transmission bolts up to all LS based motors, but you will need to convert it to slip yoke style in order to make it work in a 4th gen. To convert it you need a T56 tailhousing, and a 31 spline T56 magnum mainshaft. The tailhousing you can find cheap ($50) and the mainshaft RPM transmissions sells for $200 shipped.

These transmissions are badass, the gears in them are huge, and it comes stock with a pump in the front to spray oil on the gears. The "bellhousing" is attached to the front case on these transmissions, so that is included. The slave cylinder is included as well.

I am just throwing this out there to see if there is anyone interested in it, if not I will just convert it and use it for my build.

Price is $2000, and I can deliver to Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio for extra.

You can PM me, or txt me at: 8 O 6 - 2 3 1 - 6 2 3 4

Here are some pics:

I'm interested, but would need to have it picked up. Don't suppose you are able to strap it to a pallet? I can arrange shipping through a freight company I use.

You cannot run a slip yoke with the 2010/11 camaro mainshaft. The way it is designed it is not possible. You could put a slip joint in the middle of the shaft with a CV but a slip yoke will not work.

The OP's info is correct! You can convert this trans to a T56 Magnum back half. 69c4x11 said you don't need to change anything to make it work with a slip yoke and that is incorrect.
