Default Ruff 278s 19x9.5 with Michelin Pilot sport tires

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $1500
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): PA
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Up for sale is my set of 4 Ruff 278s in Hyperblack with mounted/balanced Michelin Pilot sport tires. The wheels are 19x9.5 with perfect backspacing for fbodies. No rubbing at all and I'm lowered with Stranos. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports in 275/30/19 and the fronts have 0.24" (8/32") of tread and the rears have 0.22" of tread (7/32") left. The spokes are hyperblack, which is a dark silver/black look, with clear coat that is perfect. The lips are polished and clear coated, which is also perfect. The wheels are only 4 years old, and have less than 4,000 miles on them as I've averaged less than 1,000 miles a year for the past 5-6 years. The car doesn't see rain, and is parked on the lift for the entire winter. In the coming week, I plan to steam clean the wheels as I do each year for the winter. It gets all the brake dust out of the nooks and crannies.

The only damage/flaw to the wheels is the right rear has a small amount of curb rash on the lip which can be cleaned up if you so desire.

Price is $1500 but is negotiable somewhat, but no low ball offers. I live in central Bucks county Penssylvania, and am willing to meet up, but that decreases my negotiation limit. If you want them shipped, I'll get a pallet, and package them, and it's up to you to pay for freight or shipping, your choice.

Any questions, feel free to ask. I have more pics, just ask.

Here's the front tread depth...

and the rear tread depth....

Here's the only damage/flaw with the set...
It's really not bad at all.

And here's how the car looks with them.

Again, the wheels aren't available anymore, so they are somewhat unique. They are a more affordable version of CCW 505s. The tires alone cost me over $1500 and there's lot of miles left in them.

Thanks.

Here's at an angle and you can see the rear wheel/tire is inside the top of the fender.

Maybe tomorrow, it's on the passenger side rear which is on the outside wall of the garage on the lift with another car under it right now. Sorry.

Someone just sent me a message asking if I would take $1100 shipped. To answer everyone, no, shipping would cost me roughly $250, so to take $1100 shipped from my original $1500 plus shipping is what I call a lowball offer.

Thanks anyways. I'll be buying a set of Fikse or another forged 18" wheel, and would rather just let these sit than sell them for such a low offer. Honestly, I don't even want to ship them due to the hassle of the whole process, plus the risk of someone not being happy when they get them. I prefer to do business face to face to make sure the person is happy as I have enough drama in my life without having to deal with someone upset about a car part. It's just who I am.

No problems.... I wasn't offended or upset, just clarifying what I would like out of this combo.

Yes they do. They are only a 9.5" wide rim, and the SS, Firehawk and WS6 all came with 9" wide rims, so these being only a 0.5" wider, and the same height, fit without any issues at all.

When i sold a set of rims and tires here i used FEDEX freight charged from illinois-texas $148 and all i did was wrap the wheels for $7 from menards and they put them on a skid and tied them down. It was the best experiance i ever had shipping anything they were great at fedex freight. try it

Naperws6, I called a couple Fedex locations, and asked about doing just as you said, and they quoted me well over $350 to do that. The one Fedex location actually said it would be cheaper to ship them individually, which came out to around $245.

How long ago was that you shipped the wheels that way?

If you do decide to ship them, I'd be interested possibly. I don't think it'd cost you that much. Just curiously, I did a 42x22x19 shipped (horrible estimate) with 80lbs of weight..it was $94.73 (with $1500 value).

I'm not sure why you chose those values. Each wheel plus tire weighs roughly 50lbs, and is 25x25x12. So 42x22x19 doesn't make sense, and nor does the 80lbs either.

Try shipping one wheel, at 25x25x12 and 50lbs and see what it costs each, then multiply that by 4.

Yeah I didn't factor in the tire weight as well and just guessed on the wheels (I've been looking at different wheels was probably why I thought they were lighter). But...

UPS Ground is 38.04 USD for one. So even at 4, less than $150. Even if you added another $50 on for misc. shipping costs, not bad. That is to me.

Ok, so for $1300 plus the cost of shipping, ~$150, they could be yours.

Also, these are cast wheels, and weigh typically more than forged wheels. So for a 19x9.5" wheel, plus tire, it's around 45lbs or so for each.
