Are you sure these are SLP? All of the true slp tips I've seen only have 1 reinforced bar in the middle and none in the back. They also did not have a polished lip.

I am sure where these were bought from, buddy gave them to me to sell and told me they were SLP CME tips. You will get exactly what you see in the picture, nothing different, that exact piece. thanks! I recently purchased a car with these tips. It is a factory cme car with the stickers in tact. I said something about the tips and he assured me they were slp's revised version. He said when he had the exhaust put on he bought these because he wanted the revised version with the extra brace.

Is there a possibility this is what these are? I purchased meents02ss's car and that is who gave me this information.

FYI ..For people that do not know, SLP DID make tips with the extra brace. As far as I know they were never put on finished vehicles, only sold as replacement parts through slponline. I have personally ordered a set and happen to have 3 sets in my basement, 2 slp and 1 aftermarket. All have polished lips btw

I cannot tell from the pictures posted but you can verify if they are SLP by looking at the casting lines, if you can see the lines in the corners on the face of the tip and they do not align perfectly they are fake. Also, the casting method on the fakes creates a porous piece which can result in pock marks when polished on the face.

The differences are very subtle but there.

Hope that clears some stuff up... Good luck with the sale, if they're real they are super rare.
