Hey all. I have a set of basically brand new Ruff racing 278 series wheels and tires. Bought these 4 years ago for my "project" car that I just recently got on the road. I have put maybe 700 miles on the car with this rim and tire set up and have found out that these are nowhere near up to the task of giving me traction, so they must go unfortunately.

Rims are 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears with a very aggressive 3" rear lip. Tires are nitto 555 extreme street tires in 245/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear. Front tires if I had to guess are 98% tread left, and rears are probably 90%. This combo cost me about $2200 new, and these wheels have since been discontinued. Asking $1200 for them OBO, and would really rather not ship, but it's at the buyers expense. I will not separate the rims from the tires either.

Please note, these are a 4th gen F-body offset! I was using spacers on my third gen.

Very nice wheels man. I would say if they were 19's they would have sold in a matter of minutes lol. I would have had a hard time not buying them haha. But the fact they are Chrome and not painted might be losing some buyers...But you will sell em...very nice looking and good priced.

Are the tires 4 years old too?

Free bump.... Nice rims for sure. I just bought other wheels 6 months ago.... But would have jumped on these as I love them and they are discontinued so they are special.

It's funny because the chrome ones were a good bit more expensive than the painted ones back when they were out. I guess it wouldn't be too much trouble to paint the centers with some plasti-dip if a new buyer wanted. Also, tires are the same age as the wheels, but they have been in a garage the entire time and there is absolutely no cracking or dry spots on the rubber. I always kept them coated in a nice layer of tire shine and they drive perfect. All hold air like new still as well.
