We are still waiting on hardware production to be finished... We expect to have samples at the end of this week or at the beginning of next week. Once we approve the samples we will produce in bulk which should only take a few days.

So far everything is on schedual.

It was asked once but never answered, ya'll got the hook up for us LT1 cars.

Specifically, 96 Z28SS.

Thanks for providing some competition. Needing a tuner, but not willing to get carputing stuff.

There was an LT1-Edit before there was LS1-Edit.
Dunno how good or how fresh or how cheap. Also
TunerCat has various tool "chunks" for older ECM
systems that might suit you. You might want to hit
an LT1-focused tech board and see what else is
out there.

How well would this work for someone with little or no experience with this sort of thing. Are there Standard upgrade settings or does someone have to figure it all out for themselves?

Thanks,

Dave

What about documentation, a certain 'competitor' seriously lacks in that area if you've ever needed to look somehting up.

Has anyone thought about organizing a Group Buy for the HPTuners product?

We are still just moving along the production process.. Should be done any day now. If we continue to hold back on taking orders it looks like we just might ship them out as we receive them. We really are in no hurry to take pre-orders.

I did add a few new shots of our scan tool software on the HP Tuners site though.

So, here is the real question, do you guys include a real guide that lets users Underrstand VE tables and units etc.? So far from the screen shots it looks very similar to the LS1Edit GUI. How much work have you done to define more of the tables that LS1Edit does not even see?

For example the delay time from TCC parameters being met till the PCM enables TCC lock (current time is about 5 seconds).

Another example is Min TPS to lock/unlock the TCC, Trucks unlock the converter at 0%TPS and there are no tables in edit to modify this.

Are you pioneering or do you have the same tables as edit currently has? I do like the fact that you don't encript the flash file for us Hex Edit guys but what of the normal user? We want more tables!

Is there anyway I could talk to a representative over the phone??? I looked around on the site and could find no contact info other than the email addy. No phone nor mailing addy??
http://www.hptuners.com/contact.html
I have already sent a email to that addy.

I'm really interested in the product but I need to talk it over with tech and answer some questions of mine. I'm going to need tuning quickly. Is there any possibility of getting the product and learning it quickly enough to get a decent tune before the end of March?
Thanks,
Judd
