stock tune, nitrous tune need help
ok, i have few questions, . do i need to go get tuned for nitrous or will colder plugs, timing retard, and possibly 110 octane suffice BTW i plan on running 150 shot. also i have no idea where to take the timing out in hp tuners like which tables and so forth. so if anyone has a tune with timing already takin out correctly or just a nitrous tune they can send me that is close to my cars mods that would be great. All one other thing, I have a frost tune does he advance timing any i need to know for nitrous purposes, Thanks in advance for all responses
mods - LT headers,exhaust,Volant intake,ls6 mani, 4;11 GEARS

Since wet system you are adding fuel so all you need to do is what you listed colder plugs and pulling timing which I believe is 1 to 1.5 degree every 50 shot...Are you using msd 6ls?
I think that 110 my mess you up unless you tune the PCM for the higher octane, wouldn't be gaining if no accommodating tuning for that high a grade of race fuel..

Stick with pump gas for that setup. You'll be fine. You would pull timing from your high octane main spark table or you could use a timing tuner or iat tricker to do it. And if you were only going to pull 4 plugs I would do the back 4 instead of the front. Those are the cylinders that get more air (leaner) so better to tune off of those.

I would do like 3000 and up rpms, from about .64 to the bottom of the high octane table. Log spark and do a pull to make sure it's within that region. I'd pull at least 6 degrees for starters. IDK whether frost adds spark to all of his tunes or not. Something you'd have to ask him yourself.

I compare my tune to stock, apparently i actually have timing taken out in some pkaces and timing added in others, so should i just go through were timing s more than stocke a take it out til its 3 degrees less than stock pland on running a 100 shot
