Default Innovative wideband...feedback?

Is this a good system? I'm also looking at the analog input option to track rpm and Map sensor to help open loop tuning....

Any feedback?

Just finished installing mine today I will be using the rpm inductive clamp and their analog box too. I will use efilive to monitor everything else.... I am not techno geek enough to make them work together. It will give me enough data to send my tuner though. I like that I now can go to the track and know my A/F all the way down the track.
Hope to be logging soon, I did drop the LM-1 box on the concrete But after logging some info with it, it shows it is alright.....whew!
Anyone know of a simple way to make efilive see the wideband O2 and log it??

Feed the 0-4V output into your A/C pressure sender
connector.

We installed and used our last weekend. I'm not convinced of the absolute accuracy of the unit, but it seems consistent enough to make educated tuning changes. We also have the optional RPM converter, but it seems hit and miss. It works part of way through a run, then drops out. All in all, it looks like a good piece for the $.

Will that allow you to log it with the PCM? That seems like a pretty good idea if it is!

That PID is available to choose in both EFILive and
HPTuners; I would presume others as well. I think
I would put some isolation resistance inline but
it's not my idea originally; others have done this.
I am merely the conveyor of trivia.

I went ahead and ordered one...should have it by the weekend

Got the analog input box and the analog output cable. I'll hook my autometer A/F gauge up to the analog output scaled 0-1V to get a reasonable read on A/F for quick spot-checking.

Thanks

Did you use the inductive pickup or the factory tach signal?

I did my research and ended up going with the dynojet wideband commander. If you haven't looked in to it it is definately worth the read. This system is WELL worth the money.

wouldnt the digital guages on the innovate system be more accurate? Or at least easier the dial "right in" the the anolog no precise guage from dynojet?

To be honest its too hard to look @ the gauge during WOT anyways. I use it to tune and then have the guage there if I'm ever curious. The thing will log 15 minutes to itself, or indefinately through USB to my laptop, this is awesome because I can datalog the ECU with HP tuners suite and the wideband and overlay the data on a spreadsheet. The wideband commander lets you specifiy warning lights and will work as a window switch, etc... For example, I wired up a Red LED on my pillar and set the wideband commander to turn the LED @ 80% Throttle and more when the A/F is leaner than 13.0 I also have it opperating my shift light.

I think deciding between the two (Innovate and DynojetWBC)
probably comes down to whether this is something you want
to hard-mount in one car, or use on multiple vehicles. The
WBC looks a bit less friendly as a toolbox meter but a better
rig for a hardwired cockpit instrument. The WBC is more
pricey but bundles more stuff in that price (like the AFR
gauge is included where Innovate sells it separately).

Innovate claims it has auto-calibration; anyone know if
the WBC does? The Dynojet site seemed a little "fluffy"
as far as technical detail.

The WBC is only a few more dollars @ $474 when you consider you dont need an accessory cable and Tach cable, that you will need with the Inovative unit
