Show me the ropes with HP TUNERS?
I just purchased HP TUNERS for a 2000 and 1998 t/a / camaro and was wondering if anybody around the Port St Lucie area could show me the ropes with hp tuners. I just ordered a brand new DELL and the software. I have an STS Turbo kit and need to get it tuned. After finally ordering the software I dont want to mess anything up!
Will take any advise or step by step.
Will have pay to have someone help!!!
Thanks GUYS

there are probably some blower tunes on horist's site i would check them out to get a general idea of what needs to be done...and just search to see what others have done with forced induction as far as how they set up their PE table/rpm limits and all that other good stuff. You'll be hard up finding people that have done a ton of forced induction stuff on their ls1 other then true tuners so its just about learning what others around the boards have done IMO.

Back when I use to be on the edit message list, I know there was a guy in Jensen Beach who seemed to know his ****. I might have to look you up this summer. Might be coming back down to PSL for my 10 year HS reunion from PSL High, would love to see how the STS performs.

What exactly do you want to know? It takes alot of time to to explain "how to tune" but if you have specific questions you'll definetly get a answer (if it already hasn't been answered here)
As I see it there are a few different processes for tuning
1. Code Deletions
2. Idle Characteristics
3. Part throttle driveability
4. WOT fueling and spark
Gotta take it one step at a time ... crawl before you can walk ...
May want to make a post in your regional section as more locals would prolly see it (if they dont' frequent this section often)
