not a healthy approach. scan first, learn about how it runs, before you start making _any_ changes. i don't mean just scan once either, scan it over weeks, see how it changes with time, elevation, pressure, temp changes.

There is a ton of tunes on Horist's site. But you have
to dig down into the details (mods, year-year PCM data
and OS differences, etc.) to get an idea of what you do
and don't want to try on.

I wouldn't expect any "cookbook tune" unless you have
the exact same mods etc. And even then, you don't
know what sort of chef you're really dealing with on a
contributed tune, other than that they're willing to
share. So it's better to use them as a reference with
your logged vehicle behavior as the driver of changes,
than to just stuff one up the pipe and see what happens.

As stated... I have a bunch of tunes on my site (see stickies) but they're more there for learning purposes... see what people have changed, compare files, etc.... I would not suggest just downloading one and loading it into your car...

Every car is different ... if you read through the stickies there's lots of tuning docs and help info... once you get the software it will make more sense as well...
